BUG SAFARI

Please join the Belchertown 4-H Community Garden Club on Saturday, August 12th at 10:00 am for a Bug Safari.  New England Small Farm Institute’s David Stanley, Integrated Pest Management, will take us for a walk around the Giving Garden to find insects and other arthropods. You will learn about life cycles, whether or not the creature is harmful, beneficial or neutral and so much more.

The Bug Safari is open to the public.  It is appropriate for children and adults.  There is a $5 fee per person to support the mission of the New England Small Farm Institute.  Please wear closed toe shoes and not flip flops.

The Belchertown 4-H Community Garden Club is in its 10th year at Lampson Brook Farm growing children and vegetables.  All that we harvest is donated.
